Axeda Corporation, the global provider of the most advanced cloud-based service and software for managing connected products and implementing innovative M2M applications, is looking for a passionate, creative, motivated Associate Software Engineer to join the world's leading M2M Platform development team. In this position, you will play a key role in the R&D organization working on all aspects of the platform. The ideal candidate will have some prior experience working on Java server side technologies. This is a tremendous opportunity for someone passionate about technology to establish them and grow within the organization and in the M2M space.Responsibilities/Duties:
Development of various features for the Axeda platform and built-in applications with a focus on quality.
Active participation in all phases of software development lifecycle.
Work on resolving issues reported by customers and QA.
Keep abreast of Axeda products/technology and new technology in general.
Required Technical/Professional Knowledge/Skills:
Prior experience using Java and JVM based languages.
Knowledge of object oriented programming and design patterns.
Familiarity with testing frameworks such as JUnit, TestNG, etc.
Some exposure to server side programming using Java, JEE, Servlets and Spring framework.
Some exposure to SQL, databases and Java persistence technologies.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Eager to learn and grow as a software engineer.
Able to quickly learn new technologies
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Computer Science or related technical discipline.
1+ years of experience in implementing high quality software applications.
