Job Description
Peoplefluent has an opportunity for an enthusiastic and talented college graduate who is interested in a unique entry level position as a Software Engineer within our technology organization. The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical and problem solving skills. The Software Engineer position works with with product developers, product managers, quality engineers and customer application experts to build and modify Peoplefluent software products for use in a SaaS (Software as a Service) environment. Participates in writing system documentation, test plans, release notes, and software user manuals.
Job Requirements
? The ideal candidate for this position will be comfortable reading and understanding existing application code.
? Experience and knoweldge with Java is a plus
? Works well in a collaborative team environment
? Solid understanding of modern Object Oriented design techniques
? Strong problem solving and analytical skills
? Effective oral and written communication
? Bachelor?s degree in computer science or equivalent engineering discipline
? Experience defining software specifications (functional, design, etc.)
? Knowledge of SQL and relational databases
? Understanding of testing methodologies and automation techniques
? Understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.)
