Job Description:An opportunity now exists within Product Development for a results-focused professional to contribute to the overall quality of HighJump Software?s suite of products. The successful candidate must have a background in quality assurance and be familiar with the QA process. This position will have hands-on responsibilities in all aspects of quality planning, measurement and analysis, and the functionality of HighJump applications. The Associate Analyst will consult with senior peers to learn through experience and will be responsible for both manual testing and automated testing. The emphasis will be on automated testing which includes both writing and executing test scripts. Employees work on cross-functional Agile teams.
Required:
BS/BA, Computer Science or equivalent degree
Solid understanding of QA test methodologies and practices
Ability to perform complex testing to ensure quality standards are met
Ability to clearly document test cases so they are understandable and re-usable
Working knowledge of SQL queries to view and update data in SQL Server and Oracle databases
Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
Self-motivated, pro-active, dynamic team player with a positive attitude
Experience in installing software programs
Preferred:
Experience with Test Automation including writing automation scripts, preferably Fitnesse.
Working knowledge of VMware
Experience working with Offshore teams
Supply Chain concepts/ Industry knowledge
Understanding of Agile methodology
