Associate Technical Support Engineer Ruckus Wireless

Working in a fast-paced environment, the Associate Technical Support Engineer (Associate TSE) will be responsible for providing level 2 Technical Support for various technologies in Ruckus Wireless products to channel partners, service provider and carriers in the Americas.
Acting as a part of a team in a growing and exciting startup the Associate TSE is expected to:
Respond to end-user customer requests that have been submitted via Ruckus Support Channels.
Answer technical questions, solve technical problems, and suggest appropriate workarounds related to supported applications.
Identify customer problems/issues and assist customer in achieving their goals while consistently achieving high Customer satisfaction.
Identify and reproduce customer technical problems in a test/lab environment.
Formulate technical action plans for analyzing and resolving end-to-end solutions.
Develop and maintain technical expertise in assigned areas of product functionality and utilize that expertise effectively to help customers.
Generate clear and concise documentation in the form of case notes and technical tips and to create knowledge base materials dedicated towards operational efficiency while also empowering and enabling the Ruckus community.
Research, document and escalate cases according to procedure.
Actively participate in job related training.
DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
The Associate TSE will work with employees, customers, and VARs to ensure the quality and reliability of the Ruckus product. We are looking for individuals with a solid, broad base of technical fundamentals who are seeking a high-paced, dynamic environment in which to expand and hone their arsenal of technical skills.
Qualifications (Key Skills, Education and Experience):
A Bachelor?s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related technical discipline.
Linux system administration and configuration experience.
Solid understanding of TCP/IP, IGMP, and Routing (Layer 2 & 3 communication).
Experience in configuring, supporting, troubleshooting, debugging and administering LAN products and technologies.
The following Certifications would be a plus: CCNA, CWNA.
Understanding of RF transmissions & antenna behavior would be a plus.
