Bachelor?s Degree Computer Science or MIS or equivalent education and experience.
0 - 2 years of related experience
Practical experience utilizing CSS and HTML and the ability to code pages from provided design layouts. Knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3 is a plus and preferred.
Knowledge of CSS and HTML frameworks such as LESS, Bootstrap, or other is a plus.
Practical experience working with content management systems such as Ektron or Drupal is a plus.
Some understanding of software development methods and best practices
Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities
Strong customer service orientation
Able to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical staff
Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include, but are not limited, to, the following:
Assist with the day-to-day management and updating of website page design, content, and imagery
Wesite and web application design/development
Assist in the analysis, development, test, and maintenance of software applications in support of SafeNet?s business requirements. This includes developing and documenting software designs, code, and unit testing
Work with the business community and technical staff to develop new solutions or enhancements to existing websites and business applications that satisfy identified business needs
Perform troubleshooting, investigation, analysis, and evaluation of day-to-day problems to resolve application issues
Participate in requirements development and review meetings to ensure accurate and feasible requirements are defined
Perform unit testing of programming code for own work
Develop documentation including data models, technical specifications, and release procedures supporting the design, coding, and unit testing of development activities
Ensure compatibility and interoperability of in-house computing systems
