THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED As the Industry Associations and Groups Specialist, you will be instrumental in the ongoing success of an industry leader. The position will work closely with sales executives, account managers, product management, and marketing to help build pipeline and drive revenue through associations and targeted agency groups.
The Industry Associations and Groups Specialist must have a solid understanding of, and experience in, sales, business development, marketing, events and promotions, lead generation, project management, and enablement and campaign execution.

WHO ARE YOU:
Strong sales acumen and ability to develop new and foster current customer accounts
Experience developing strategic programs and business development capability
Experience in the tech sector, preferably in the software industry
Ability to collaborate and work well within a team structure to drive growth
Ability to communicate with all levels of a customer?s organization
Self-motivation, high energy and superior communication skills
Must adopt Vertafore sales methodology be able to adhere to our sales process
Present complex, solution- selling techniques at the executive level
Make recommendations to customers that align business needs to technology solutions and services
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
Proven success in Business-to-Business application software sales
Industry experience including a deep understanding of licensing and compliance in the insurance industry
Previous experience with or a strong understanding of insurance companies? business workflow
Strong written, verbal and presentation skills.
Demonstrated ability to follow sound business ethics when executing job responsibilities to build and maintain customer confidence
Strong technical skills ? WEBEX, MS Office, CRM software.
Track record of exceeding quota and other target deliverables
Experience within a multi-dimensional operating environment is essential (i.e., not a mono-line, single market environment).
