Astute Solutions is seeking an outstanding and motivated self-starter to expand our business development function. The Business Development Specialist role is perfect for an individual who has excellent phone, listening and relationship-building skills. In this role, you'll use these skills to follow up with individuals who have expressed interest in our technologies and solutions, and create, develop and nurture relationships with key executives and influencers among our potential customer base.

You'll contact companies in our target markets, engage them in solution development conversations, uncover areas of need and opportunity, educate managers and decision makers on our solutions, qualify leads and inquiries, and set the stage for conversations with our outside sales team.

In many cases, you'll be the front-line person for our solutions and brand, making a highly positive impression on these individuals. This is an outstanding opportunity for an individual with a technology sales and marketing background, who enjoys solving business problems through technology, and who excels in creating and building relationships.

Experience

2+ years Sales and/or telemarketing experience at a B2B technology company
Demonstrated ability to navigate corporate structures to identify decision makers and determine buying process

Travel

Domestic travel to trade shows or client sites 0-5.
