Audio Engineers are responsible for recording and editing teleconferencing presentations and making them available for on-line delivery. This is a part-time position - approximately 4-12 hours per week.Key Responsibilities
Run an efficient sound check with clear communication with clients
Record and Edit with Sound Forge
Troubleshoot equipment that isn't working
Encode files to different specification
Post audio files to website
Maintain vigilance with equipment safety and well being
Desired Background and Skill Set
Must have 1+ year experience working with audio recording and sound production
Proficient in Sound Forge or other DAW?s
Able to troubleshoot and think independently under pressure
Maintain a professional attitude and communicate clearly
Reliable and punctual
Able to work with a team as well as independently
Strong attention to detail and organization
Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a flexible way
Willingness and ability to learn new skills
Maintain communication throughout the week through email and phone
