Auditor Consultant Black Duck Software
Responsibilities:
Primary responsibility will be to deliver software quality audits, which will include collection, analysis and reporting of code metrics.
Auditors will conduct code metric reviews, analyzing the customer's infrastructure and standard operating procedures, including manuals, documentation, and quality records.
Providing analysis of process and problem data will produce trending and development data information.
Upon conclusion of the customer audit, comprehensive data analysis and corrective actions for areas of deficiency, may be provided.
Recommendations for corrective action will be provided in the audit report created.
Develop a detailed understanding of the capabilities and limitations of the customer's development architecture and tools, whereby the customer's processes will be improved upon, with analysis provided.
Provide guidance for business decisions from a technical perspective on issues such as: performance, scalability, reliability, and security.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent relevant experience.
3-5 years of development experience with C++ or Java.
Minimum of three (3) years of professional services or consulting work, within Enterprise IT or Software application environments.
Ability to travel 10% of the time, including internationally.
Ability to read/review source code.
Good oral, written and presentation skills.
Experience with software development tools.
Familiarity and knowledge of at least some of the following: J2EE, Hibernate, Spring, JBoss Seam, JBoss AS, Rational, BEA Weblogic, Clearcase, Subversion, CVS, HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
Experience working with database technologies, client/server architectures, Linux OS, Ruby and integration via SOAP API?s, would be a plus.
