DEPARTMENT NAME: Quality Assurance
REPORTS TO: Automated Test Manager
Position Summary: The Automated Test Developer(s) will work alongside our Development Scrum Teams where they will develop frameworks to support regression tests and other essential aspects of the development of MINDBODY software.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: This is a representative list of the general duties the position may be asked to perform and is not intended to be all-inclusive.
Independently develop modules for core MINDBODY testing infrastructure
Write programs to automate browser activity
Debug and maintain existing test suite
Suggest or implement changes to MINDBODY software to enable better and more stable testing
Perform code reviews
Create documentation
Assist new development team members with their understanding of the MINDBODY software
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
High School Diploma
Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant education or equivalent work experience.
Ideally possess proficient skills utilizing the following technologies:
Web Development Experience (HTML, Javascript/JQuery, CSS)
Object-Oriented (Java, C++) Software Programming Experience (C# would be a bonus)
Version Control Software Experience (Git would be a bonus)
Ability to work part-time.
Ability to work with minimal supervision.
Ability to work within the appropriate level of independence.
Makes good decisions based upon a mixture of analysis, wisdom, experience, and judgment; all in a timely manner.
Looks beyond the obvious and doesn't stop at the first answers.
Strong drive for results.
Others seek this person out for his or her highly-developed, problem solving skills.

SCOPE OF SUPERVISION/AUTHORITY: Software test developers will be supervised by the Automated Test Manager.
