DescriptionPrimary Responsibility & Essential Functions:
As the Automation Engineer responsible for the automated production line, you will be responsible for troubleshooting issues on automated equipment. This would include but not limited to working on PLCs from different manufacturers, HMI programming using Wonderware and Proface software, good electrical troubleshooting skills along with the ability to logically and systematically identify and resolve control system issues.
Requirements:
5-10 years experience working in controls/automation engineering
Experience with Allen Bradley ControlLogix, Omron CJ2, Mitsubishi Q Series and Siemens S7-3xx PLCs
Wonderware and Proface HMI programming experience
Experience with Omron vision and Yaskawa servo control systems
Knowledgeable on VFD operation and troubleshooting
Wonderware InTouch and System Platform SCADA programming experience a plus
Good project management and organizational skills
Able to troubleshoot using pneumatic and electrical diagrams
Good working knowledge of material handling and process control systems
Knowledge of Ethernet and DeviceNet I/O networks
BSEE or BSME desirable
Ability to work effectively in a team environment to consistently deliver superior results
Able to work in a fast paced environment
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
