Automation Engineer Qualys

The Operations Acceptance Team is responsible for the design and execution of the operations acceptance test suite to assess and ensure new releases meet critical standards necessary for the continued confidentiality, integrity and availability of the service and information assets.
Responsibilities:
- Automation of acceptance test framework, including but not limited to:
- Long duration / performance / capacity testing
- Deployability, Maintainability, Supportability of the release
- Security of the release components and recommended implementation
- Availability and Redundancy characteristics of the release under test
- End-to-end / integration testing in a Pre-Production environment which simulates the live service infrastructure and load conditions
- Deployment automation, including post deployment verification and rollback capability testing
- Quality Control (automated test samplings)
Qualifications:
- 5+ years experience designing and developing automated test frameworks using automation/performance tools and scripting languages
- Strong commitment to Quality and Operational Excellence
- Experienced with pre-production, staging and live production stress testing scenarios
- Practical experience designing and implementing automated deployment strategies, post deployment verification and rollback testing
- Strong experience and capability with Linux/Unix administration, virtualization and package distribution
- Practical Release Engineering and automation a plus
