Job Summary:
• Responsible for the onsite training of customers in the use of Mobile Productivity's (MPi) service merchandising program (EDGE). Training responsibilities include: working with the service and parts personnel to create proficiency in the use of the software and consulting with dealership management to establish best practices to maximize the net profit improvement for the dealership.
Job Responsibilities:
• Acquire full knowledge of the EDGE Program (including the supporting software system, processes, and selling techniques) to the point of becoming an expert within a prescribed period of time.(3 months)
• Work with Dealership Management on tasks that need to be accomplished between visits and coach them to completion.
• Conduct group training events to successfully impart product and process concepts.
• Consult on “Best Practicesâ€, provided by MPI
• Conduct one-on-one coaching with all users to ensure successful adoption of MPi's service merchandising program.
• Consult with management on how to manage their staff around all aspects newly implemented program and associated processes.
• Teach basic computer skills to individuals as needed.
• Ensure the software application is functioning according to published standards, securing Technical Support as needed to rectify problems identified and monitor those problems through to completion.
• Identify onsite process changes required to maximize system utilization.
• Review and recommend required changes with dealership management and establish an “Action Plan†for implementation. This includes systems training and systems modifications based on assessment.
• Establish system implementation plan to achieve financial and performance objectives in the near term.
• Additional responsibilities could include assisting in the creation of supporting training materials.
Job Requirements:
• Ability to travel 100% (typically Monday â€" Friday). Flexible to travel as needed to various states.
• Strong interpersonal skills in both verbal and written communications
• Ability to effectively consult and train in Automotive Service & Parts departments utilizing Adult Learning principles.
• 4 years adult training experience desired.
• Experience in Dealership Fixed Operations and an understanding of dealership financial performance and objectives is a plus.
• Must be flexible, adaptive, and creative with the ability to work with diverse customers and co-workers, and be comfortable interacting with senior level management.
• Moderate to advanced skills with Microsoft Windows, Networking (wired and wireless), and a basic understanding of database principles.
Work Environment and Physical Demands:
• General office environment. Professional appearance and presentation required.
• Able to travel 100% of the work week, with occasional Sunday travel.
