DescriptionThis position is with vAuto, a business unit of AutoTrader Group. This role will sit on-site at vAuto Headquarters in Oak Brook, IL. All applicants must have a background with automotive software and/or automotive training in order to be considered.
The Training Specialist is a facilitator who is able to provide high-quality, engaging learning experiences for vAuto employees. They will manage training programs, as well as other programs such as product training, or new/updated system and process training. Professional demeanor and the ability to promote a team environment are essential, as are excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Successful Training Specialists are self-starters. They have the ability to work independently to achieve desired results. They tend to have a strong work ethic, be self-motivated and are able to contribute creative ideas to help the human resource department achieve its goals.
Qualifications
Strong background in automotive software and/or automotive training.
Strong facilitation skills.
High enthusiasm, creativity, and desire to work on a fast paced/ever changing team with a positive attitude.
Ability to communicate effectively within all levels of the organization.
Ability to give constructive feedback in a positive, clear, sensitive manner.
Cooperative team player
Ability to prioritize and work independently.
Strong time management skills.
Must be detailed oriented and possess the ability to multi-task.
Strong organizational skills
MS Office Suite skills (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint).
Candidates must work out of our Oak Brook office. Out-of-state candidates are welcome to apply, but must be willing to relocate to the Chicago area.
