Seeking: Zuberance is seeking a strong back-end developer with proven experience in building scalable services and an interest in emerging technologies. Someone who is comfortable with OO concepts and common design patterns who has strong software engineering fundamentals who knows to to apply them in practice.A developer who has a mix of OO and/or functional programming paradigms. An individual with start up experience who likes to tackle challenging problems on a tight schedule who is adaptive and innovative. A consummate team player with excellent communication skills.
Position Info: Participate in our Agile development team to produce rapid iterations of software. Someone to join a very small core back end team with responsibilities including data aggregation, platform scaling, and performance of core services who will support existing RESTful web services. If you are looking to bring new ideas to the table and help us refine our existing techniques, this position is for you. Will be responsible for researching new technologies and quickly determine if they are a good fit for our platform, support data intensive services running against SQL as well as MongoDB and implement new data aggregation services using MongoDB map reduce. Must possess the aptitude to learn new technologies in order to quickly satisfy business and engineering needs.
Requirements:
4+ years experience in software development.
Must have 3 plus years experience with back-end web development experience and a solid understanding of OO fundamentals.
Experience integrating with open source technologies.
Experience working with RESTful web services.
Designing experience for Big Data aggregation and analytics experience who is comfortable working with large amounts of data, experience with MongoDB a plus.
Experience with Scala and related technologies a plus
Bachelor?s degree in Computer Science.
