About the Role
We are looking for a talented, experienced engineer to join our team and immediately have an impact on developing features for our PlayPhone Social Gaming Network (PSGN). We're seeking an extremely talented backend engineer to work with our small, fast moving team in developing robust solutions to complicated features created by a high load, big data driven environment. You'll have exposure to challenges such as app discovery, leaderboards and rankings, multivariate testing, and other data point driven optimizations created by our successful and ever growing social network
What we expect
This is an on-site, full time position in our San Francisco, CA
You must have significant hands-on experience in dealing with high load, big data environments.
You can work independently and in a team. You can be accountable/responsible for your own product(s)
You understand the balance between speed and quality and can prioritize what to do when
You're highly proficient in PHP5, MySQL, SVN, understand MVC and serving and have worked with high load/traffic and/or complex environments
Experience with social networking, gaming, and/or search a hugh plus!
