Battery Technology Manager Jawbone

Lead the integration of state-of-the-art battery technology into Jawbone?s innovative mobile lifestyle products
Core Responsibilities:
Define and project state-of-art in battery technology for mobile products
Develop technology roadmaps and develop relationship with technology development teams internal and external to the company
Execute prototypes for printed, solid-state and thin film batteries matching expected product requirements
Drive technology development to meet internal project targets
Drive product definition, design architecture definition, IC design through
Develop appropriate test and validation systems and drive the product through qualification to high volume manufacturing
Requirements:
5+ years of experience in battery engineering
Prior experience in formulation of electrolyte, electrode and current collector materials
Experience with battery assembly and test desired
Prior experience with scaling materials and processes from prototypes to high volume manufacturing required
Must be a team player and possess excellent oral and written skills
Must have demonstrated leadership skills
Must be a creative individual with prior history of filing IP
Master?s or Ph.D. degree in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry or related discipline or equivalent work experience
