As a BlackBerry Software Developer, you will be involved in the building compelling mobile applications that utilize the Gist technology as the foundational components of the user experience.
Qualifications
ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
A Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent is required
5+ years of software development experience including systems requirement and functional specifications of systems or software, high level design and implementation of software systems with C++ and/or Java
5+ years of software development experience in a high tech environment
Deep working knowledge of software development and design methodologies
Ability to understand a wide variety of technologies and components and how they interact in order to maintain the conceptual architecture
Research & Development experience in the implementation and application of Internet protocols, messaging systems, email and instant messaging; analysis and optimization of applications for wireless networks, highly available networks and processing clusters
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
