About the job:
The Beauty Editor will own the Beauty Section on StyleBistro.com. This entails making and supervising the production of news posts, feature stories, games, lookbooks, polls, custom photo slideshows, and, in general, overseeing the quality of content in the section. This is a content creation job with a heavy emphasis on writing. It?s a new position we?re creating that will focus on hair, nails, and beauty, but will also branch out to other elements of style and fashion. As one of the more senior editors on staff, this job requires a steady stream of ideas for compelling, engaging, and original hair and beauty content.
About you:
You?re a blogger, writer, editor and Internet junkie obsessed with all things hair and beauty. One might say you are an expert in the category. You have 3-5 years experience, loads of fabulous writing clips, can easily rattle off the best moisturizer for oily skin and the latest celebrity hair trends. You?re a fountain of great ideas and can easily communicate and execute them with a close-knit creative team. You think it?s great to work hard and play hard and you live by the motto. When friends describe you, great sense of humor and extremely intelligent are usually phrases that come up first. You have a college degree and are passionate about working on the Internet.
