Overview:
Responsible for the administration of the complete employee benefit process. Provides guidance and assistance to employees
with regard to benefits matters, as well as provide support to the HR team in other locations.
Responsibilities:
Administer on-line enrollment process for new hires, employee events/changes, termination and open enrollment
Assist employee?s with benefit questions, claims resolution, liaison with carriers and Benefit Assistance Center (BAC)
Updates on-line enrollment and payroll system with regard to benefit data adjustments
Responsible for the annual benefit open enrollment process
Create reports and audit on-line enrollment and benefit deductions for accuracy
Audit monthly benefits-related invoices, submit for timely payment, and notify carriers of discrepancies
Participate in planning of wellness initiatives, coordinate with carriers, set up schedules and manage the event
Manage the administration of the 401k plan, annual audit and 5500 filing
Manage the administration of the Health & Welfare plans, Flexible Spending accounts and 5500 filing
Monitors the COBRA process and ensures compliance
Remains current on benefit related laws, regulations and trends
Follows all Federal, State, and local laws, regulations and requirements
Must maintain a high degree of company and employee confidentiality at all times
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or (GED) equivalent and three to five years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Previous experience with HRIS software programs a plus
Proficient with Microsoft Office software Word and PowerPoint
Strong skills with Excel including V Look-ups and pivot tables.
Demonstrates thoroughness with all work related activities.
