We are currently seeking a part-time Benefits/COBRA Administrator to join our team. This position will be 28 hours per week.
As a Benefits/Cobra Administrator you will engage with clients on a daily basis and administer all aspects of active Benefits and COBRA. You will provide assistance with administration of employee benefit plan transactions, such as health, dental, and disability insurance enrollments and terminations by performing the following duties.
Core functions of this role include:
Investigation and resolution of questions regarding delivery and payment for services by contacting health care professionals and other service providers benefit plan providers, and employees.
Obtaining an in-depth understanding of the client needs, identifying and resolving the client?s issue, and anticipating future needs by explaining/suggesting/providing additional information that the customer needs to know.
Verification of benefits enrollment forms and submission of enrollment information to benefit plan providers and other plan administrators for active employees and COBRA participants including health, dental, disability or life.
Maintenance enrollment form files and other documentation.
Process status changes.
Utilize technology (e.g., UltiPro, SalesForce CRM, WebCOBRA) in order to access the appropriate information to service the client.
Provide eligibility/claim resolution as needed.
Explain of types of insurance coverage such as health, accident or life as needed.
Provide a courteous and professional manner.
The ideal candidate must meet the following qualifications.
Bachelor's or Associate's degree.
A minimum of three (3) years of experience in the benefits administration and COBRA administration.
A genuine desire and commitment to serving customers.
Strong interpersonal communication skills.
Detail orientation and strong organizational skills.
Experience managing third party providers in an outsourced environment.
Strong project management skills are required with an ability manage deadlines.
Must posses a working knowledge of benefits administration, COBRA, ACA, ERISA, HIPAA, Retiree Medical, FMLA, LOA, STD and LTD and all current Benefit legislation.
Flexibility and experience to manage multiple, high priority tasks and adjusting to shifting priorities while meeting deadlines.
