Position Overview
Operative seeks a talented, experienced BI engineer to help build new products and applications to be used by many of the world?s top media companies. We process huge amounts of data related to media sales, pricing, volume and demand every day and are working on new solutions for surfacing this data to business users and analysts within our suite of applications.
Job Responsibilities
Design data warehouse architecture and work with product managers to plan for new capabilities and data sets
Work with other on the engineering team to implement a new BI stack in support of product objectives
Design and implement key capabilities in support of ad hoc reporting, cube browsing and manipulation, and user dashboards
Help to unify several data sets for reporting and analytics purposes
Requirements:
5+ years? experience in data warehouse design and data modeling
Strong background in delivering BI solutions for business users
Excellent SQL and OLAP skills
Experience with open source BI stacks, such as Jasper Server a plus
Experience implementing BI solutions in a Software as a Service (SaaS) model a plus
