Position Description and RequirementsThe Senior Accountant performs day to day accounting tasks of the corporate office in Tampa, Florida and will be required to communicate with Spanish-speaking clients, vendors and employees throughout our business regions. The Senior Accountant is responsible for a broad array of basic accounting and financial analysis functions. The position requires the ability to multi-task in an entrepreneurial, team-oriented, high growth business environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
?Review and posting of Accounts Payable with an emphasis on accuracy
?Review of Accounts Receivable with an emphasis on accuracy
?Reconciliation of payroll submissions to the resulting payroll reports received from payroll service
?Preparation of weekly cash reporting to determine funding requirements
?Preparation of various journal entries
?Preparation of account reconciliations and monthly financial reporting package for assigned entities
Qualification/Requirements:
?Excellent computer skills, preferably with a market leading ERP system (Oracle, SAP, Edwards, etc.)
?Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
?Experience with multiple locations and intercompany transactions
?Experience with multiple currencies
?Must be able to multi-task with a team orientation and respond to the demands of a high growth business environment
?Fluent in both English and Spanish
Education/Experience:
?Associates degree in accounting required; Bachelor?s degree in accounting preferred
?A minimum of five years in accounting, preferably in a job cost, manufacturing or distribution with multiple operating locations
