The Retail Solutions Project Manager is responsible for leading the project team (developers, DBA, launch manager and Q/A on new initiatives and ongoing efforts. Works directly with clients and internal business partners to manage the project life cycle. This role is repsonsible for tactical, end to end execution of system integration and enterprise application integration, in a hub and spoke model.
Project execution including resourcing, scheduling, and deployment.
Manages the integration of new partners, credit switches, and mobile application platforms.
Collaborate with many different business and technical groups to plan and execute on common goals
Set direction for all resources at project level
Ensure client satisfaction with the project process and project team by effective and timely communication including status reporting, continual risk/issue assessment/management and escalation, and resolution ofissues as they arise
Facilitate discussions with key stakeholders in establishing project requirements and goals.
Facilitate good communication between project team members during programming and throughout the project lifecycle.
Clarify opportunities and risks associated with project approach
A four year degree or equivalent experience and 5+ years of project management experience
Must have superior verbal and written communication skills
Experience supporting internal and external customers
Experience creating Business Requirements, Project Plans, Project Schedules and associ materials
MS Office Tools (Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint, Visio)
Expert understanding of software development and infrastructure project lifecycles
Ability to effectively manage time, prioritize work, multi-task across many assignments and
Ability to assess the impact oi new project requirements on an existing team workload
3-5 years minimum experience developing business solutions with a variety of tools
Knowledge of transaction processing systems and Customer integrated system desirable.
