The Infor Supply Chain Planning Suite comprises best in class solution components for: Forecasting/Demand Planning, Replenishment Planning, Inventory Management, Advanced Planning Optimisation, Advanced Scheduling and Sales & Operations Planning. The central focus of the role will be to perform implementation services for Infor Sales & Operations Planning, our Business Intelligence/OLAP based solution.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Defining and designing the application configuration for the Infor supply chain software solution in accordance with the objectives agreed
• Perform the implementation at client site including: training, process development, workshops, testing, deployment/go-live support and documentation
• Liaising with Application Consultants, Technical Consultants and Project Managers to define the total solution and component application requirements
• Facilitating the definition and design of the business process required to support the solution
• Liaison with clients - agreeing business process aspects of new installations and the upgrade of existing products with new and existing customers
• Advising customers on best practice regarding solution deployment
• Feedback of issues at customer sites to appropriate company staff and to monitor resolution where appropriate
• Ensuring that services delivered are signed-off as completed to enable invoicing in accordance with agreed procedures
• Producing full functional specifications for customizations and configuration changes
• Participating in implementing all actions required to deploy an application; assist in ensuring that the application meets both technical and business needs
• Collaborating with Product Development proposing enhancements and introduction of new technologies
• Working self-sufficiently and collaboratively to ensure team goals are achieved
• To recommend changes to procedures and processes
• Maintain product knowledge and skills

required skills & experience

• Extensive industrial experience in an supply chain planning or client facing IT consultative role
• Excellent knowledge of OLAP solutions , PM OLAP or TM/1 knowledge are mandatory
• Experience of designing and implementing OLAP based solutions, e.g. Management Reporting, Budgeting and Forecasting and Sales Analysis
• High degree of confidence working with the operations research and information technology aspects of supply chain software products
• Experience in managing change within a business
• Capability to take ownership for delivery of a project work stream or deliverable
• Commercial awareness and supply chain business understanding
• Ability to transfer knowledge and skills to others
• English language (essential), German/French (desirable)

Advantageous knowledge and experience in any of the following:

• Microsoft Business Intelligence platform including T-SQL, SSIS, SSRS and SSAS, MDX
• Microsoft based analytical and reporting tools, e.g. Office/Excel/Access, IntelligentApps, Crystal Decisions, Business Objects etc.
• Data Warehousing and ETL Tools
• Relational database technologies
• Multi-dimensional database technologies
• Microsoft Sharepoint Portal Server (SPS)
• ERP and Accounting Systems, eg SAP, Siebel, Sunaccounts
• Of particular interest are the following skills: Application Studio, OfficePlus, ImportMaster, PM OLAP

Minimum qualifications

• Degree level or equivalent in a science related subject
• EU Citizenship
• Full driving license
