Under close supervision, responsible for responding to multiple incoming calls from patients regarding accounts.
Answer multiple incoming telephone lines to respond to patient questions.
Review patient account information to answer questions regarding patient responsibility, insurance information and charges.
Summarize and document patient calls.
Escalate complex issues requiring additional research to next level.
Ensure HIPAA guidelines are followed.
Identify trends /issues and notify Team Lead.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:
Strong customer service skills
Ability to perform multiple tasks in a consistent manner
Medical Billing experience required.
Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office programs
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Staffing Hours: Mon-Fri 7am to 7pm.
