As a key member of the Aircell?s accounting team, the Billing Analyst is responsible for Services Receivables including review of customer agreements and approval of account setup in billing system, cash receipts, monthly services billings, collections, customer correspondence and reconciliation of services AR balances.Key Responsibilities
Review and approve new customer account setup within billing system.
Process daily cash receipts and apply to corresponding customer accounts within billing system.
Reconcile customer AR balances as requested and services AR balances.
Perform bi-monthly payment reconciliation of billing system and ERP.
Process credit memos/adjustments in billing system.
Collections on Services billing accounts.
Assist with monthly services billing process, by analyzing initial billing variances, and researching unbilled usage, researching duplicate payments and rate code errors.
Respond to customer services billing inquiries via email, phone.
Assist with month end close, including reconciliations, accruals and journal entries.
Assist with annual and SOX audits.
Maintain files on customer accounts.
Qualifications
Bachelor?s degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent work experience plus undergraduate degree.
1-3 years? experience working in an accounting or billing department.
Telecommunications industry experience is required.
Technical Skills
Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
Familiarity with other Office products (Outlook, Visio, Power Point, Word).
Knowledge of the reconciliation process.
Other

Strong organizational skills.
Ability to double check own work to ensure accuracy.
Proactive, self-directed and ability to work well under pressure.
Capability to set priorities and successfully multi-task.
