SourceMedical is currently seeking a Billing Manager ? Surgical Hospital for its location in Cincinnati, OH.
Summary of Position:
As a Client Services Manager ? Surgical Hospital, you will be a key member of the SourceMedical management team with the key responsibility of supervising a team in a multi-client medical billing center. As an individual contributor in this role, you will implement strategies focused on driving best-in-class service to customers, high productivity, quality & responsiveness. To meet your objectives, you will partner closely with the department VP and determine the staffing, coaching and training needs of the department.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Drives commitment to providing quality service to internal and external customers across the team by meeting or exceeding established quality goals.
2. Drives for high productivity by meeting or exceeding established productivity goal for Call Center. Coaches for the use of time management and other techniques across team to ensure high productivity.
3. Engages employees in performance management activities according to agreed upon format and schedule. Consistently measures and evaluates employees based on established goals and objectives for individual positions. Meets with employees to provide direct feedback and guidance.
4. Effectively complies with all administrative tasks required by department supervisors. (Examples include but are not limited to the following: active participation in meetings, generation of reports, responding to internal and external correspondence and other employee-related administrative tasks, etc.)
5. Arrange for interviews and interview applicants to obtain information on work history, training, education, and job skills. Make recommendations for hire and negotiate offers.
6. Orient and train employees on established policies, procedures, equipment, software, etc
7. Ensures compliance with applicable employment laws and regulations in all areas including but not limited to Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) and affirmative action guidelines and laws, such as the Americans with Disabilities Act
8. Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Education/Qualifications:
--3-5 years experience in managing teams (25+ employees)
--Experience in Surgical Hospital or Hospital Billing
--Experience with managing workforce forecasting, scheduling, and load balancing
--Experience with Performance Management/Coaching activities across high-performing teams
--Experience with interviewing candidates and selecting talent according to the needs of the team
--Superior customer service orientation
--Strong analytical and problem solving skills
--Effective interpersonal skills (written and oral) and the ability to communicate effectively with a variety of staff levels
--Excellent organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple projects and competing tasks/priorities
--Prior experience in a medical setting or call center environment strongly preferred
Travel Requirements:
--Limited travel is required.
