Billing Registration Representative (Part Time) (#0065) Singulex

This is a part time position, Monday - Friday, 5:00 - 10:00 p.m.
Description

Verify interface requisition transfers from LIS to SLAR billing database.
Enter patient demographics, insurance information, and diagnosis codes into SLAR.
Reconfirm tests ordered.
Validate patient insurance eligibility via insurance website(s).
Forward requests for missing patient information to a.m. shift for folllow-up.

Qualifications

Excellent data entry, typing, and organizational skills, including Word, Excel and Outlook, and previous experience with at least one Laboratory Information System.
Must have excellent interpersonal skills, displays strong knowledge of responsibilities, good team work, good written and oral communication skills, and computer literate.
Good documentation skills and attention to detail are essential.
Excellent cross-functional team leadership and participation skills.
Results and goals oriented.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment; flexible and quickly adaptable to changing priorities.
