The Billing Support Specialist provides first level billing support to our clients, ensuring that all billing support inquiries are handled in a timely and effective manner. This position will be responsible for analyzing un-billed receivables and researching a variety of internal and external customer questions to resolve billing discrepancies and uncollected accounts. Additionally, this role is responsible for administrative duties.
Job Responsibilities Include:
Respond to customer calls and cases regarding their monthly network invoices in a timely fashion, per service level agreements.
As requested, analyze customer network activity to determine the best-fitting billing plan.
Proactively reach out to customers whose credit card is approaching expiration.
Follow up on denied payments and work with customer to resolution.
Work with internal customers to assist with billing issues as needed.
Work in a collaborative and proactive fashion with the Sales, Professional Services, Finance, and other teams to deliver the best customer experience.
Perform various administrative tasks as assigned and needed in a timely fashion. These may include but are not limited to: daily collection and distribution of mail and deliveries (same building), ordering of general office supplies, greet visitors upon arrival, and facilitate company luncheons/events.
Associate?s degree; Bachelor?s degree preferred.
2+ years over-the-phone customer service experience
2+ years of account experience preferred
Experience with Microsoft Office products, specifically Outlook, Excel, Word
Excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills
Ability to manage a workload which varies during regular cycles
Ability to enthusiastically work and learn both independently and with a team
Confidence to make decisions independently using company policies as guidelines
Ability and willingness to work shifts which can vary your hours between 8am-7pm
