Biostatistician Milagen
Biomarker DevelopmentWe are seeking a talented Biostatistician to work closely with Biomarker Development Scientists to provide statistical analysis of biomarkers with clinical utility applications. This individual will be responsible for research design of validation studies and sample size justification, analysis of biomarkers, determination of biomarker performance, endpoint specifications. The ideal candidate will work well independently, and will be capable to successfully interface with company Scientists, and third-party independent collaborators on statistical analysis of company biomarkers.
Qualifications
MS or PhD degree in Statistics or Biostatistics, or equivalent, with at least 3 years directly related experience in academic or biotech/pharma environment
Proven experience with experimental design and analysis as it pertains to clinical biomarkers and diagnostics
Expertise in multivariate analysis and predictive models
Expertise in statistics programming (SAS or equivalent) to automate routine biostatistical analysis
Experience with high-throughput process, and multiplex protein platforms
Highly capable of technically addressing unique biostatistical problems and skilled problem solving.
Ability to interface multiple expertise and translate into successful clinical applications
Excellent computer and organizational skills
Superior listening, verbal and written communication, among technical and non-technical personnel
