Required technical skills:Requires 5+ years of industry experience in embedded software architecture design, code development, resource optimization, system bring up, co-debugging. Experience should include both embedded device application level development and driver / chip level development.
Requires hands-on experience with 2 or more leading RTOS, embedded microcontroller, and development tool chains.
Experience in developing one or more wireless technologies. Bluetooth stack development and interoperability experience is highly desirable. Experience in CSR BlueCore based SOC product is a strong plus.
Requires successful track record in developing low power small memory footprint mobile devices.
Requires good understanding on battery driven device efficient power management methods.
Proficient in C. Familiar with assembly. DSP hands on knowledge and experience is a strong plus.
Familiar with HW circuit, schematic review, lab instruments.
Required leadership and management skills:
2+ years of combination of technical leadership, team management, project management experience.
Capable of managing and mentoring a small to medium size engineering team distributed in US, Asia and other international locations.
Capable of leading complete software life cycle for a small to medium complexity product.
Capable of taking product concept into architecture planning, module partition, detailed interface definition, development and integration tracking, release management, post-release issue tracking.
Comfortable in writing technical documentation, ie, engineering specification, technical manual, design approach, problem description, etc. Good at capturing high level summary for executive team.
Good listening and communication skill. Good cross functionional team player.
Creative, discipline, strong sense of responsibility, delivery and schedule commitment. Very used to multiple tasking, prioritization, and conflict solving.
