As a top-level hardware board design engineer, the right candidate will work with our executive & engineering teams in the design, build, and delivery to the market of world-class broadband satellite network systems. Your experience and expertise are needed for:

schematic capture,
high speed FPGA/PLD design,
board level signal integrity analysis,
providing detailed technical guidance to PCB layout designers,
supervising board fabrication and assembly,
performing board bring-up and generating/executing test plans,
driving EMI and the environmental testing process,
working closely with ASIC and DSP design engineers to debug and characterize our products,
assisting in the definition of future products,
working with software engineers on HW/SW integration,
assisting customers to integrate our solutions.

Qualified candidates will possess the following:

6-8 years of experience in hardware (board and FPGA) design,
solid, strong Verilog-based FPGA design skills,
good prior experience with Xilinx or Altera FPGAs,
some experience in high speed multi-layer board design and simulation with speeds over 150+ MHz,
some strong signal integrity and EMI characterization skills,
past, proven experience in bringing designs from specification to manufacturing,
an in-depth knowledge of high speed I/O buses,
thorough familiarity with embedded processor designs, including video, wireless, RF, DVB-S, broadband, networking, and storage.
