The Branch Sales Associate is responsible for driving infleet sales and associated Value Added Products. The position additionally initiates, manages, and executes the branch?s local target marketing activities. The Branch Sales Associate will:
Generate revenue by marketing and selling infleet modular buildings and associated Value Added Products
Follow up with customers via telephone to assure satisfaction, respond to queries, solicit further sales, and resolve any problems
Serve walk-in customers in the absence of a Territory Sales Manager and show customers available infleet modular buildings in the branch yard
Observe the presence of competitors? construction trailers and determine through Territory Sales Manager or customer contact why we missed the opportunity and provide feedback to the sales force
Perform campaign blitzes as determined by manager
Generate and distribute local target mailings (sales flyers, discounts, brochures, etc.), leverage use of our internet site, integrate efforts with district strategy, and coordinate with Corporate Marketing department
Participate in district sales meetings, conference calls, and other sales related activities
Monitor pipeline activity to identify market trends and niches and act to capitalize on areas of strength which are identified
Know your branch fleet: availability and readiness
Conduct onsite client transactions at the branch location
Greet customers/visitors
Maintain filing systems
Answer telephones, determine nature of business, direct calls, and take messages
Perform other duties as assigned
A successful candidate:
Holds a Bachelors Degree or has a minimum of two years of customer service or sales experience
Has excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication, organization, and customer service skills
Has exceptional ability to multi-task and manage personal productivity
Is PC proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Has ability to develop long-term customer partnerships (customer acquisition, development, and retention)
Has ability to work effectively with team members across functional areas
Is a creative, motivated individual with selling and negotiating abilities
Has inside or outside sales experience - preferred
