Brand Advertising Sales Manager houzz
Houzz is seeking a strong sales professional to sell Houzz?s brand advertising solutions to advertisers in the home improvement and home furnishings verticals. This role will establish and expand relationships with new and existing clients. Candidate must have strong consultative sales and analytical skills; thrive in a collaborative and innovative environment, and have a passion for home design. Success in this position will require a proven ability to reach and influence executive level customers and close new business. The position is located in our headquarters in Palo Alto, CA.
Execute on all phases of the sales cycle?such as prospecting, cold calling, online product demonstrations, proposal generation, campaign implementation, and account management.
Accurately and effectively manage sales pipeline in order to prioritize business opportunities and resources
Develop and broaden high-level collaborative relationships
Create and present needs-based solutions and high quality answers to RFPs
Create and deliver consultative sales presentations using industry knowledge, market trends, and Houzz marketing solutions
Serve as an industry thought leader in social media and digital advertising vertical
10+ years of Brand Advertising, Media Sales and/or Online Advertising experience
Display media sales experience strongly preferred
Proven track record of successfully reaching and exceeding sales revenue goals
Strong contacts in home improvement and/or home furnishings categories preferred
Experience selling native and custom content advertising solutions
Ability to build strong relationships with top marketing decision makers at clients
Proven ability to connect with agency media teams
Excellent written communication and presentation skills
Exceptional phone skills: can easily build rapport and establish relationships with prospects
Strong understanding of online user behavior and how technology works
Experience in a fast-paced startup, sales, and/or online advertising environment strongly preferred
