Responsibilities:
Communicating and working with campus-wide contacts to grow awareness on campus, e.g. working with dorm leaders, heads of campus department and others to grow awareness of Zipcar as an alternative to car ownership
Location management, including but not limited to suggesting ways to maximize awareness of Zipcar through location merchandising, planning and procuring new locations and location maintenance
Writing and executing a marketing plan tailored to Rowan University and the surrounding area
At Zipcar, one of our main functional pillars is delivering results by controlling CPA, driving member engagement with the brand and acquiring new members through fun, local, activities. You should expect us to be analyzing performance of marketing programs through those activities.
Evaluates car condition, and escalates issues, as needed
Drives Zipcars to various locations for cleaning, maintenance, or return to site
Other relevant duties, as required
Qualifications:
Currently enrolled in a 4-year undergraduate program at Rowan University
Sophomore and juniors preferred. Seniors will be considered.
Business, economics with business emphasis or marketing major preferred
Superior attention to detail and strong proofreading skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Flexibility, willingness to try new things and a sense of humor a plus
Performance or similar experience with street promotions
Ability to lift 50 lbs. and to carry collateral materials and displays
Valid state-issued driver?s license- Driving history that meets Zipcar requirements
