You will also be a key player in the evolution and management of these brands. Designing compelling brand identity, creating standards documents and coordinating sales and business education is just the beginning. You will be the creative genius behind advertising campaigns and promotional graphics across all channels ? print, web, mobile and social.
The ideal Brand Designer understands how to meet marketing and business objectives, create compelling visuals, and develop guidelines that result in consistency.
The Brand Designer is responsible for developing and producing creative brand designs as well as overseeing all marketing initiatives to ensure that images and messages appropriately contribute to brand identity. It is their job to review marketing materials for accuracy and continuity. The Brand Designer must lead a team of Graphic Designers in brand development and execution.
Another important aspect of this position is documentation and communication. Creating comprehensive brand standards and coordinating distribution of assets is key to building a strong brand.
The Brand Designer must be a creative individual who has the capacity to turn their visualizations into comprehensive designs. They must be able to work collectively with communications professionals, clients and senior and junior staff members. It?s imperative to understand target markets and develop innovative strategies to reach them. There is a constant stream of a variety of projects with different deadlines, so they must be able to multitask and remain organized.
Minimum 4-year Graphic Design degree
Minimum 5-7 years experience in graphic design
Experience working with business strategies, marketing and retail
Portfolio with national brand design experience examples
Brand Standard documentation examples
Organizational skills and unforgiving attention to detail is a must
Experience in mobile and web design is a plus
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office is required
