The Brand Marketing Manager will report to the Senior Director of Marketing and will assist in the development, production and deployment of all marketing materials and communications for two of our partner programs.
The Marketing Manager will:
Work closely with the Senior Marketing Director and other members of the marketing team to execute tactical marketing programs and plans for 2U's partner programs
Develop, with the Senior Marketing Director's input and oversight, creative briefs required for brand marketing programs and plans.
Coordinate the workflow and oversee execution of marketing driven webinars to include invitations, RSVPs, presentation material, schedule and pre-post surveys, while collaborating with the appropriate teams such as admissions and operations.
Work closely with the lead generation team to traffic all creative assets requested by them such as subject lines, email copy, banners, etc.
Team with the Senior Marketing Director to research and develop regular and timely infographic concepts and work with social media teams to agree to concepts at least 3 months out.
Develop and keep updated a marketing calendar of all marketing tactics and programs across key marketing tactics such as social media, email, advertising, etc.
Assist Marketing Director to ensure email marketing and drip campaign strategies and tactics are executed and regularly updated, and coordinate with the admissions, email and analytics teams to get sign-off, and to ensure effective AB testing for subject lines, creative and content.
Oversee the ordering of all giveaways and premium items for each brand.
Develop project plans and/or processes to drive efficiency and ensure projects are completed on time and on budget.
Work on other projects to support 2U's partner programs.
The selected candidate will have a bachelor's degree and have an excellent background in project management to play a leading role to ensure that brand marketing projects are delivered on time and on budget. Ideally s/he will be familiar with email marketing best practices. S/he must be able to thrive on constant change, be self-motivated, personable, and goal-oriented.
Things That Should Be in Your Background
Bachelor's degree required.
Minimum 3-5 years consumer marketing experience
Must have breadth of experience across marketing tactics to include online and offline tactics such as email, display advertising, search, webinars, collateral, etc.
International work experience a plus.
Must be highly organized and have great attention to detail.
Agency account management is a plus.
Familiarity with Salesforce, Marketo and experience using Google Docs is a plus
Solid verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work on cross-functional teams.
Ability to think out of the box and find creative, unorthodox solutions when needed
Must be able to prioritize and handle multiple assignments simultaneously.
Must be able to take direction and while also driving his/her projects without a lot of oversight.
