What We're Looking For:
The Brand Marketing Manager will execute tactical marketing programs and plans for 2U?s university partner programs. The Brand Marketing Manager will report to the Marketing Director and will assist in the development, production and deployment of all marketing materials and communications for several of our partner programs. This person will also assist in the development and launch of new, university partner programs.
Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To:
Work closely with the Director of Marketing and other members of the marketing team to execute tactical marketing programs and plans for 2U's partner programs.
Develop, with the Director's input and oversight, creative briefs required for brand marketing programs and plans.
Write marketing copy for program web sites, email, webinar scripts
Coordinate the workflow and oversee execution of marketing driven webinars.
Assist marketing director in making frequent updates and improvements to the program web site
Manage market research efforts including competitive tracking.
Work closely with the lead generation team to traffic all creative assets including banner ads, emails and search advertising copy.
Develop and keep updated a marketing calendar of all marketing tactics and programs across tactics such as social media, email, advertising, events, etc.
Assist Marketing Directors to ensure email marketing strategies and tactics are executed and regularly updated, and coordinate with the admissions, email and analytics teams to get sign-off, and to ensure effective AB testing for subject lines, creative and content.
Work on other projects to support 2U's partner programs.
The selected candidate will have a bachelor's degree and have an excellent background in project management to play a leading role to ensure that brand marketing projects are delivered on time and on budget. S/he must be able to thrive on constant change, be self-motivated, personable, and goal-oriented.
Things That Should Be in Your Background:
Bachelor's degree required.
Minimum 1-3 years consumer marketing experience with experience developing consumer focused marketing communications preferred.
Must have breadth of experience across online and offline marketing tactics such as email, display advertising, search, webinars, collateral, etc.
Strong background in project management
Must be highly organized and have great attention to detail
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work on cross-functional teams
Demonstrated understanding of email marketing best practices a plus.
Agency account management a plus
Ability to think out of the box and find creative, unorthodox solutions when needed
Must be able to prioritize and handle multiple assignments simultaneously
Must be able to take direction and while also driving his/her projects without a lot of oversight
Enthusiasm and the ability to thrive in an environment of constant change
