About the role:
The Brand Marketing, Sr. Associate will be responsible for coordinating and executing brand marketing communications for WhaleShark Media's portfolio of websites, with a heavy emphasis on RetailMeNot.
--Develop brand communication briefs for consumer communications across RetailMeNot and our portfolio of websites
--Plan and coordinate brand-building activities across online and offline channels.
--Manage promotions and coordinate programs across Marketing, Product and Merchant Relations
--Measure and analyze performance against our brand communications objectives to ensure the effectiveness of brand marketing programs (e.g., building brand awareness, consideration, improving brand recall scores)
--Develop and oversee corporate-wide brand-building idea generation initiatives
--Serve as a Brand Ambassador, ensuring consistency of brand communication and essence across marketing programs and channels.
--Assist in developing and managing the visual brand identity system to ensure that guidelines are communicated to/followed by the organization and external agencies.
--Align with product marketing to ensure consistency of brand voice and visual identity across all consumer touch points.
--Manage day-to-day creative and media agency deliverables.
--Closely monitor and assess impact of competitive brand-building activities
--Undergraduate degree in marketing, advertising, communications, psychology or related field; MBA in marketing a plus
--2+ years of brand or consumer product marketing experience
--Strong knowledge of brand principles and management
--A thorough understanding of marketing and business functions
--Experience coordinating and executing integrated consumer marketing initiatives that have resulted in measurable lifts in brand awareness, consideration and intent
--Experience working with creative and/or media agencies
--Excellent interpersonal, presentation and written communication skills
--Innovative thinker with creative problem-solving abilities
--Experience managing multiple projects to tight deadlines
--Ability to work in a rapidly changing, dynamic, and fast paced environment
--Must have strong attention to detail
--Must be highly collaborative and a strong team player
--Proficiency working in the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
