Responsibilities
Create and manage builds by running and monitoring all build processes, troubleshooting as appropriate and managing to project needs and schedules
Generate and manage test builds for test platforms.
Identify, with the team, appropriate build tools and source code management tools
Develop scripts, programs and tools as needed; Manage tool and source code systems; Oversee ongoing maintenance of software, scripts and release transitions.
Develop new Unit tests and build verification tests.
Work closely with developers and manage all source code; Work closely with QA team to ensure final version is up to organizational standards
Write and manage the release notes of each build/release
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Minimum of five years of build release experience with enterprise software companies
Experience with several of the following tools: Jenkins (or Hudson), Perforce, MSBuild, Visual Studio, Ant, NUnit, Perl, VMWare
Self-motivated and able to work cooperatively in a team environment
Strong ability to problem solve technical problems
Experience setting priorities and requests from software team
Experience shipping commercial software products to external customers
