Business Analyst Omnilink Systems

Primary Responsibilities
Analyze business and user needs, and translate them into proper functional requirement specifications.
Represent requirements using alternative methods, such as analysis diagrams, prototypes or scenarios, where appropriate.
Manage requirements traceability information and track requirements status.
Solution documentation and related items, including workflows/wireframes/requirements and functional specifications.
Establish and implement effective requirements practices, including use and continuous improvement of a requirements process.
Assist with the development of the organizations requirements policies, procedures, and tools.
Collaborate directly with Quality Assurance to develop test plans, perform systems level testing and facilitate user acceptance testing if necessary.
Plan and establish post launch activities including ongoing system support and performance reporting.
Assist in management of project timelines, managing resources in accordance with project schedule.
Maintain Product Roadmap for both existing and new products
Assist to develop, maintain and coordinate distribution of all Documentation related to Engineered Releases, Functionality Guides, Implementation Guides and User Guides.
Qualifications and Requirements
Bachelors degree in in Computer Science, MIS, Business or related field.
3 to 5 years experience as a Business Analyst working with SaaS applications or in a related field.
Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience eliciting and documenting requirements.
Work with functional lead from the engineering team to transform new requirements into architected solutions for quotation and implementation.
Effectively balance and prioritize multiple projects concurrently.
Exceptional client management and teamwork skills; comfortable with challenging other's ideas and working with disparate groups to bring about consensus.
Solid experience with systems development life cycle methodologies and frameworks (eg Agile/Scrum).
Exemplary analytical and critical thinking skills to assist with problem solving and business rule definition, and to identify and negotiate solutions to address project challenges.
Strong Familiarity with:
Database concepts, SQL, and reporting
Data mapping
HTML, validation tools, encryption tools
Web Services
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Project, Visio, and SQL Server
