Overview:
Everyday Health is seeking Revenue Analyst Associate to join our Sales Operations Department in a highly visible, strategic role that will undoubtedly impact our organization. You will analyze large amounts of data, redefine everyday business operations, and build metrics and business cases around process improvements that ultimately support revenue generating opportunities.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with stakeholders across multiple departments evaluating potential growth opportunities, developing products and tools to improve the business, monitor performance of our growing portfolio, and ensure quality execution of intent. This is a fast-paced role and requires a quick thinking problem solver who can thoroughly drive projects to completion. The successful candidate will be highly analytical and possess a passion for process improvement.
Responsibilities:
Drive decisions and initiatives based on concrete and empirical data analysis
Manipulate, synthesize, and extract multi-layered data into actionable information
Analyze and review products? metrics and results while finding ways to improve performance on a regular basis
Develop data models, reports, and templates / Excel guru
Continually assess day to day tasks in order to optimize, streamline, and automate
Implement new structures and create ore refine processes to maintain data integrity in various databases, implementing rules to mitigate error, and assure accuracy and consistency
Improve and maintain sales and data infrastructure
Analytics Daily Focus
Managing reporting, opportunities and status of the business on a weekly basis
Pacing, delivery of revenue
SWAT/identifying shortfalls, risks
Pipeline of incoming and future potential advertising deals
Ad hoc reporting
Analysis of the business
Ad Performance analysis (CTR trends)
Inventory assessment
Business unit focus
Salesforce Administration
Billing Reconciliation
Month-end Flash Data
Qualifications:
1+ years in a quantitative, business, financial, or data analyst role within the digital, media, marketing, online space
Bachelor?s degree in Economics, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics or Marketing is preferred
Ideal candidate is someone who possesses the ability to take initiative and drive projects with minimal supervision, including the ability to deal with competing priorities effectively, and work efficiently in a high-paced environment
Proven quantitative analytical abilities and modeling skills, including advanced knowledge of Excel
A high level of maturity and the ability to work in groups and independently
Understanding of ad-serving and workflow technologies, particularly Salesforce, DART for Publishers (DFP) and inventory tool like DSM is a plus
Motivated self-starter with a collaborative and entrepreneurial spirit
Willing and able to adapt to multiple demands and shifting priorities
