Gravitant is seeking a highly motivated entry level through mid-level Product Management Analyst for the fast growing Product Development and Solution Division. This is a great position for individuals who can conceptualize complex business requirements and effectively communicate them. Identify and document business processes and system requirements and produce functional and technical specifications. Additionally, the ideal candidate will have experience facilitating productive meetings with subject matter experts to formulate business strategies and requirements and translate business needs into actionable functional requirements within an organization. Responsibilities:
-- Understand product requirements and end-user needs and drivers
-- Elicit and analyze all requirements, including business rules.
-- Identify and document all business, technical, product and process requirements.
-- Develop detailed requirements, features, user interface mock ups, storyboards, use cases, wireframes, or other artifacts required to ensure a successful and quality product
-- Work with product management, engineering, customer support, sales and marketing organizations to extend current product features, usability, documentation, etc.
-- Deliver PRDs (Product Requirements Documents) with prioritized features and corresponding justification
-- Understand and prioritize product requirements and end-user needs and drivers
-- Assist in beta and pilot programs with early-stage products and samples
-- Create and Support Demo scenarios, Demo scripts, etc.
-- Support Sales in new customer acquisition
-- Create and maintain documentation (process work flows, standard operating procedures, user guides, data dictionaries, etc.).
-- Develop an understanding of how present and future business needs will impact the proposed solution.
Qualifications:
Required
-- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Business is desirable
-- 1-2 years demonstrated, hands-on experience in business/systems analysis in the technology industry, including preparing project documents.
-- Demonstrated ability to act in a consultative role to understand functional business processes, related IT needs and to develop solutions and delivery proposals.
-- Proven ability to work successfully with technical and non-technical groups, and manage multiple responsibilities.
-- Strong technical writing.
-- Proficient with modeling and mapping tools (e.g., Visio).
-- Strong initiative; able to self-manage and use good judgment of when to ask for assistance or guidance from managers.
-- Comfortable with ambiguity and flexible enough to work through the issues to get the right things done.
