Reports to: Director, Remedi Product Analysis
Classification:Full Time - Exempt
To perform the activities involved in proactively identifying process improvement and technology needs of the business area: holding requirements gathering work sessions with business stakeholders, soliciting and gathering user requirements, documenting user requirements, validating user requirements per business processes, presenting requirements to business users for sign off.
Elicit requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, task and workflow analysis.
Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs.
Decompose high-level business requirements into an appropriate level of business rules and detailed user, functional, and non-functional requirements using alternative views such as flows, diagrams, models, and use cases when applicable.
Successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously
Work independently with users to define concepts and under direction of project managers
Drive and challenge business units on their assumptions of how they will successfully execute their plans
Strong analytical and product management skills required, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and subject matter experts.
Collaborate with developers and subject matter experts to establish the technical vision and analyze tradeoffs between usability and performance needs.
Be the liaison between the internal business units and the software development team through which the requirements flow.
Maintain a detailed knowledge of each of the assigned applications, systems and programs.
Participate in project teams, coordinates work assignments and performs complex problem resolution as identified.
Perform related duties and special projects as required or assigned.

Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
Five or more years of healthcare business analyst experience.
Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and written with English as the primary language.
Ability to develop and maintain written manuals, processes and procedures documents
Must be dependable with ability to be flexible, function independently, works under pressure with
Multiple tasks and deadlines. Must have excellent analytical skills. Ability to meet tight timeframes and
simultaneously manage several projects. Must have strong organizational, customer service, and time
management skills, ability to problem solve.
This position must exhibit maturity in judgment, will work under the supervision of the Director of
Contact with Others:
High frequency of contact with customers, other employees, vendors requiring effective interpersonal
skills exhibiting a professional attitude and demeanor, the ability to interact positively.
This position will be exposed to highly confidential information and data that disclosed would be against
Federal and State HIPAA law and contrary to the company?s policies and to professional ethics.
Position requires the ability to sit for extended periods of time during the work day. Must be able to work
in an open office environment with moderate noise levels and frequent interruptions.
Mental/ Visual Demands:
Flow of work requires normal mental and visual demands.
Software Application Experience:
Intermediate skills with MS Word, MS Excel, MS Visio, MS Project, MS Outlook, Internet Explorer.
