The Business Analyst is responsible for systematic analysis of prospect and client business requirements (including RFI and RFP initiatives) and development of the design and configuration of the Health Dialog business offering. The Business Analyst will interface with internal departments and external vendors and strategic partners, on a variety of projects across Health Dialog.
Accountabilities and Activities:
• Responsible for review of prospects, strategic partner and client requests for new business or upsell, either from RFI/RFP activities, or direct interface with VPs of Sales, RVPs and Client Management.
• Document solution designs, distribute as appropriate
• Develop and manage project plans and project reviews to ensure timely and effective development of offering, ensuring appropriate coordination with Product, Sales, Client Management, and Marketing.
• Gather information on competitiveness of offerings and research market as necessary for related supporting data to assess competitive solution offerings.
• Partner with Product Development and Finance to understand pricing models of modular components of Health Dialog product suite.
• Under the guidance of the VP Solution Engineering, develop a framework for non-standard product configurations and offerings.
• Assist in the development of the value proposition of the HD solution offering.
• Display behaviors that are reflective of Health Dialog’s mission, vision and values
Qualifications, Training and Experience:
• Ability to develop business requirements and interpret business offering specifications to ensure compliance with stated business needs
• Ability to conduct in-depth analysis to assist in validating business offerings and investigate issues arising from stakeholder concerns
• Strong initiative to seek out research and information when little formal documentation is provided
• Must be able to work as an integral part of a team. Ability to work on multiple projects/project teams as needed
• Must have experience with requirements gathering in the Healthcare industry
• Should have the ability to coordinate client facing requirements
• Experience in client/project management preferred, but not required
• Strong collaborative consulting communication skills. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with internal or external clients
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Bachelor's degree with 3-5 years experience client service, sales support or client management environment

Sound decision-making and problem-solving skills are essential to ensure all objectives are met and delivered on schedule. Decisions must often be made under pressure and to tight deadlines and the ability to prioritize work is essential.
Freedom of Action:
• This role reports to the VP, Solutions Engineering
• Works on own initiative, providing regular updates to manager to deliver projects in line with the defined scope

• Managing multiple projects of varying size and complexity while interfacing with multiple departments within Health Dialog
• The job holder must be willing to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
