Business Analyst

The Technology department is looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join the application services team. The position is responsible for business process design, solution design, requirements management and system changes.



Responsibilities

Specific duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited, to the following:

Lead requirements gathering, application configuration, and deployment of changes supporting business systems across functional units
Work with business partners and technology staff to identify and document business requirements and system development specifications for functional changes and enhancement requests
Produce thorough project documentation including process/solution designs, system requirement specifications and testing plans to support the system development lifecycle
Develop end-to-end test plans, document test cases, and facilitate user acceptance testing to ensure planned changes meet business requirements while maintaining system integrity and reliability
Ensure product compliance to test plans on new releases and upgrades
Research reported issues with systems and processes and translate into enhancement requests Train and support end-users on system upgrades, new functionality and daily operation



Requirements

Bachelor?s degree required in information systems, computer science or related discipline
A minimum of three years experience in a business systems analyst role
At least two years experience supporting a CRM system, preferably Microsoft Dynamics CRM
Experience understanding and analyzing business needs, designing solutions based on needs, documenting functional requirements and assessing business impact
Experience with systems development lifecycle and system management processes, including requirements management, design, configuration and user acceptance testing
Experience leading projects and managing technology partner relationships
Preferred experiencing supporting higher education institutions with knowledge of marketing, recruiting and student advising business processes and related systems
Excellent collaboration, facilitation and communication skills
Exceptional organization, problem solving, and analytical skills
