Scivantage Maxit is the leading cost basis solution for the financial services industry. Clients include leading firms in retail brokerage, prime brokerage, custody and transfer.
This is a unique opportunity for a driven, entrepreneurial Business Analyst to join a rapidly growing team and take ownership over his/her projects. As a candidate, you should have a background which includes a strong mix of the technical and business aspects of cost basis concepts, such as wash sales, corporate actions, tax lot matching and basis reporting regulations. Additionally, you have experience developing and managing successful web-based products. You thrive in an independent environment where results are paramount.
Responsibilities - The Business Analyst role is a high profile position at Scivantage, responsible for providing domain expertise to all clients during both implementation and production stages.
Creates and executes project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
Minimizes exposure and risk on assigned projects.
Manages and contributes to the requirements development process.
Identifies business development and "add-on" opportunities as they relate to a specific project.
Facilitates team and client meetings effectively.
Manages day-to-day client interaction.
Sets and manages client expectations.
Develops lasting relationships with client personnel that foster strong client ties.
Skills - Position requires a candidate that is smart, flexible and able to perform well with minimal supervision.

Possesses superior writing and verbal communication skills

Qualifications -
Bachelor degree required
5-7 years of increasing experience in the financial services industry
Proficient with Microsoft Office software: Excel, Word, Visio, PowerPoint
Good organizational and time-management skills
Proven skill in managing multiple tasks, establishing priorities and meeting timelines Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to interact with both Business and Technical team members
Understanding of Cost Basis Reporting strongly preferred (i.e. wash sale rules, accounting methods, asset transfer, corporate actions, etc.)
