CheckPoint HR is an HR services and technology provider. We work with small to mid-sized companies ? those with 50 to 500 employees ? helping them eliminate unnecessary HR expenses while improving HR programs, compliance, and employee satisfaction.
As a Business Systems Analyst you will take a leadership role in working with and liaising with business partners and external vendors to define the business and technical requirements.
Prepare test cases and perform testing of applications.
Investigate and gather requirements from business stake holders that will be used by the development team to build solutions.
Review, analyze and evaluate detailed business and functional requirements, documentation, process flows and data models to contribute to the development of project plans including project charter, project deliverables, cost/benefits analysis, time line estimates, scope and control.
Integrate technical solutions with the business environment, recognizing systems design and data interdependencies and reusability.
Define, review and influence standards and quality measures/metrics. Develop use cases, defining and documenting user procedures and workflows, and how each class of user interacts with east system function.
Develop in depth knowledge of applications and their interdependences.
Conduct pre and post implementation reviews, ensuring all technical solutions have met business requirements.
Collaborate with business leaders, IT professionals, and vendors ensuring that management is kept informed of project status and that problems and issues are escalated appropriately and clearly communicated.
Participate in the creation of supporting documentation.
Support and co-ordinate UAT, defining testing requirements together with the QA & Testing Team as well as the clients
Communicate between the multiple user groups and development teams to ensure the best solutions are developed using best practices.
The ideal candidate should have or meet the following qualifications:
Degree from an accredited college or university with a concentration in Business, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics or Computer Science.
All candidates must have at least 3-5 years working as a Business Analyst with experience analyzing processes and best practices.
Demonstrate leadership and partnership skills by interacting with other teams within organization to solve problems and deliver solutions.
Excellent Communication Skills along with the demonstrated ability to understand and communicate complex issues clearly and concisely to all levels in the organization.
Ability to translate business requirements into functional and technical software development requirements
Ability to communicate with non-technical audience
Ability to understand new business requirements, conduct business analysis, undertake QA testing and help streamline existing processes to improve efficiency
Understanding of Testing methodologies
Must have a proven ability to work with a diverse user community in defining business requirements and incorporating the requirements into functional business process and technical application designs.
Understand, document and interpret complex user requirements.
Must have proven project management experience in managing multiple complex projects with a demonstrated ability to complete projects on schedule and provide production support for the existing user community.
Possess an analytic mindset combined with knowledge strategy, and critical thinking
Experience in conceptualization and solution definition
Basic knowledge and awareness of (related) business solutions in the marketplace
Ability to work with virtual or offshore teams
Ability to work in fast paced environment
Experience in working with multicultural teams and the ability to build consensus
