Job Description
This individual will lead data analytics projects and deliver results to a broad set of stakeholders, including the Sunrun executive team. Recommendations will directly influence the way Sunrun operates and maintains existing projects, adjusts our product pricing, and structures project finance solutions. This individual will also contribute to software product management initiatives to design and implement scalable technology solutions. This is a high impact opportunity to shape Sunrun?s strategy as we continue to lead the residential solar industry.
Responsibilities
Contribute to company growth and department strategy by extracting value and insight from large data sets
Identify key drivers and trends in complex problems (i.e. solar PV system performance and field service incident rates)
Deliver synthesized results and recommendations to broad audience, including senior executives and external audiences
Lead project management initiatives to improve tools, processes, metrics, and reporting
Required Qualifications
Bachelor?s degree (math or economics desired)
2-3 years work experience
Experience designing analytical methods ? including regression analysis ? to extract value from complex and multiple data sets
Experience synthesizing results, forming recommendations, and delivering to relevant internal stakeholders
Expert user of basic statistical analysis tools (i.e. Microsoft Excel) and intermediate user of advanced analysis tools (i.e. Microsoft Access, Matlab, SQL, etc)
Experience contributing to software development initiatives (desired)
Experience interacting with senior executives (desired)
Superior organization and attention to detail
Adaptability and comfort working in unstructured and evolving environment
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Proactive and energetic
Our Fleet Operations Team
The Fleet Operations Department operates and maintains the largest fleet of residential solar PV projects in the country. We are responsible for all projects after they are turned on. Our goal is to maximize customer satisfaction, financial performance, and resource efficiency. We preemptively reduce service incidents by ensuring all systems are built in accordance with industry leading quality best practices and utilize reliable equipment from stable manufacturers. After each system is placed into service, we orchestrate the reliable collection of data, monitor performance trends, and manage field service activity.
